Isn't ozone dangerous?
In lotus, the ozone is only dangerous to germs! Essentially no ozone is released into the air by this process; and the ozonated lotus water itself is harmless to healthy cells. It is okay on your skin, on food; it is chemical free and natural. The only by-product of the process is simple oxygen and plain water.

How long is the lotus® water effective at killing germs? Using the spray bottle, it takes about two to three minutes to turn tap water into antibacterial lotus® water with 100% potential (this is indicated on the unit); and then it remains fully effective for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, it begins to revert to plain water. A countdown time on the unit tells you when it's time to reload and recharge.

Personal Review

After seeing The Lotus sanitizing system on the Big Idea on CNBC. I had to buy it and put it to the test. I washed my cherries and apples under water and proceeded to scrape the surface with a toothpick and scraped a petri dish with medium that feeds any existing bacteria, virus or mold which are invisible to the naked eye. I did this to see what would grow in the petri dish based on a thorough washing with water which is basically what 99% of the general population does when cleaning their produce. I was shocked to see what I was always ingesting or invisible to the naked eye. As soon as you get home, simply clean all your produce with the Lotus and that alone will extend the shelf life several days. Just think of the money you will save by not throwing away your food. Our refrigerators and freezers only retard bacteria and mold growth, but the cold will not kill the micro organisms that can make us ill.

Pesticides alone over time can't be too healthy for our bodies either and this is the Only chemical free process that removes all types of pesticides.
