Weight Loss Pills Xenical Or Alli - Are There Better Alternatives?

In this day and age, can modern medicine play a role in the battle against
today’s obesity epidemic? Xenical has traditionally been a prescription only
capsule that doctor's prescribed to morbidly obese patients, and recently,
the Federal Drug Administration green lighted an over the counter version named
Alli. Both share the main ingredient Orlistat, which is a lipase inhibitor that
helps prevent fat from being absorbed into your body. Alli contains much less
Orlistat and can be bought over the counter now.

Is Xenical okay to take?

When you take it at breakfast, lunch and dinner, Orlistat reduces the amount of
fat that is broken down in the stomach and absorbed into the body by about 30%.
Instead, fats are removed naturally in your stool, thereby promoting weight
loss.
Xenical feels like a godsend for people who fight to keep to a well balanced diet plan. However, the active ingredient, Orlistat is usually only prescribed to morbidly obese patients with a body mass index in excess of thirty kg/m². Therefore, if you are not morbidly overweight, Alli or Xenical may not be the best choice for you. Anyway, you should always ask your physician. Besides there are also some nasty side effects:

What are the Alli's and Xenical's side effects?

Okay, here we go hang on. Here are a few unpleasant side effects that have been
reported from the use of Orlistat products. Users have reported uncontrollable
anal leakage, so taking this Alli or Xenical could result in some embarrassing
situations. Some other possible effects are oily stools, loss of bowel control,
diarrhea rectal pain, liver inflammation and fatigue. So, Orlistat products may
not be the rainbow with the pot of gold for morbidly obese patients.

Fat Binders are Not Fat Blockers! Proactol, for example, is known as a fat binder,
whereas, Alli or Xenical are considered fat blockers. A fat binder does not
cause anal leakage problems while fat blockers do have this side effect due to
the mechanism involved in removing the fat from your intestines. Fat binder
binds to the fatty content and forms a thick substance preventing one from
embarrassing anal discharge when they least expect it. Surely you don't won't to
wear a depends all day long just to lose weight when a fat binder causes you to
lose the same amount of weight without the depends diaper getting soiled.

Well then are there any safe, effective alternatives?

As I write this article, there are literally hundreds of weight loss products on
the market, but only a few have been clinically proven to be effective. There
are products on the market that are proven to have very similar benefits to
Orlistat in reducing fat in take, but with out the nasty side effects. Proactol
is a relatively new weight management product that also reduces fat from the
food we eat by around 30%, but in a much different way.

With hundreds of "weight loss miracle pills" out on
the market today, Proactol is one of the very few that lives up to its claims
of effectiveness. In several pre-clinical trials it has proven to be a highly
effective alternative to Orlistat based products. As with most weight loss
supplements, Proactol’s best results come when used in combination with a
healthy diet and exercise.

Proactol - Is a Safe, Clinically Proven Fat Binder, Not a Fat Blocker!

Proactol is based on a patented fiber complex, that rather than just preventing
fat from being broken down, pulling in fat molecules and binding them into a
viscous solution in the stomach. So the digested fat is prevented from
entering your body without the embarrassing side effects that occur with Alli
and Xenical products. User feedback for Proactol is very positive, and as well
as reducing your fat intake by 27 to 30%.

Proactol has the following benefits:

Decreases food cravings

Helps to reduce cholesterol levels

Helps to suppress appetite
